If your Biometrics are done then you should receive your card in another 5 to 30 days. I recieved mine in 4 days after 485 approval. Moreover, USCIS is no longer entertaining the stamping requests (only special cases when you have very urgent travel coming up). I would rather wait than going for stamping.
Anyway to answer your original question the stamp is valid for multiple entries but be aware that some countries have stopped recognizing the stampped passports as a valid travel document. So enquire with your travel agent and make necessary arrangements (like transit visa and / or a letter from USCIS indicating that you're a legal permanant resident etc.).
