Hi gurus,

My wife and I both got approved last week. Today we went for stamping, but somehow we did not get the stamp because we did not bring one document - advanced parole.

The approval notice only requires these: notice letter, passport, I-94 and two photos. We did not understand why the officer asked for advanced parole, which is still not expired yet. She also asked for our EADs.

My questions is, what else docuement should I bring? I am afraid that when we get there tomorrow then she asks something else...I-20, Practical training, H1....?

Thanks for your help. I am a 10/01 filer.

generally they ask for adavance parole and EAD. it is a good idea to carry all the documents issued by them.

good luck!

Many people in this forum had mentioned that all EADs and APs are taken back by BCIS when we go for stamping. Most of them have mentioned submitting EADs and APs. You should be fine, but it's better to take all the 485 related documents.

This is strange. You might not even have an advanced parole if you do not need to travel. Advanced parole was not asked for in my case, when I went for stamping. In fact I even gave them the AP and the lady returned them back to me.
