Stamping in local office in other service center regions

Hi,
One of my friends' have received the I485 approval recently. They have recently moved and thinking of going for stamping in their current location.

Would this create any sort of issues or delays (file transfer etc) since their current location technically belongs to a different service center?

Alternatively can they go the original local office (where they were fingerprinted before) and get stamping and then change the address?

There should no issue, but let him be prepared for questions like why are you coming to a different location. All they are looking for is an legitimate reason.

I have been through the same experience. I am waiting for my actual GC though. Got mine stamped on March 14 at Ohio.
 
If the reason for going to a local office in a different region is due to change of employment and they happen to ask, is it okay tell them I changed job and moved here? Would that raise some issue? Please clarify what type of legitimate reason are you referring to? Thanks.
