Stamping for Extension Visa

Hi

I switched over the company and I got a new H1. My old H1 visa is valid till April 2002. I would like to get stamped here in US itself. so what is the procedure and in how many days before I can send for stamping. Because I heard that I could not send for stamping before 60 days of my visa expiry date. Can I send it right away, if so what all documents I need to send along with my passport.

Going to India to get married. What happens if my GC is approved while i am in India

Hi All,
 I am going to India on Feb 15th and getting married. I will be giving my finger prints at local INS office on Feb 2nd 2002. I will be coming back to USon March 17th. What happens if my GC gets approved while I am in India. Can I bring my wife with out any problems? I am still on H1 and I did not apply for EAD. Thanks in advance for ur response
