We got our passports stamped at Detroit.
Arrived early by 7 AM, parking is not a problem (free). Just make sure you go there early.
Make sure the photographs are not from digital camera, they don't accept them. The good thing is, there is a studio right across the INS office. The lady completed the paper work and asked us to get new pictures. Took about 10 minutes to get them.
It was convenient. After getting the new pictures, we just walked to the counter and picked up the passports. Very nice lady, help us out immensely.
The process at the counter takes about 10-15 minutes, take all your documents like AP, EAD cards, I-94's to surrender them.
In general it was a smooth process.
