Stamping done at DALLAS

FYI we got our stamping done this morning.
Got here @ 6:00 am, there were @50 ppl ahead of us
took a number @ 6:15
were done by about 8:30 am
- i-94s collected
- All APs collected
- All EADs collected
- FP collected
- Passports stamped
- Lady officer mentioned that it will take 1 yr or even 18 mths for actual card to arrive. if it does not show up in a years time, we need to come back for re-stamping

Dallas Stamping days

Quick question for the gurus-

Are there days Dallas does not handle passport stamping?

Is this like the FP process where you are assigned a date in your AOS approval notice?

Is there a better day in the week to get this done?


We just got approved. We are planning to fly into Dallas for the stamping (currently on assignment in another city, but maintaining Dallas residency). Would like the above details before purchasing airline tix.

You can go on Mon, Tue, Thursday or Friday. Not on wednesdays. Time is between 6:30 AM - 1 PM when they officially issue tokens. You are not assigned any particular date like FP. You can go on any day after you receive your courtesy copy. Take courtesy copy, passports, I-94, 2 passport size photos (like the one's you used for EAD, AP), EAD's, AP's.

Going after 12:30 PM seems to be the easiest. You will be out of there by 2PM. Tuesday might be the best to go because of light volume of people coming in. Good luck !!
