Stamping at INS Arlington

I am glad to inform you that our status was adjusted to permanent residence(passport stampings) this morning .We went to INS Arlington office at 5:45 AM, waited at the doors of INS till 7:30 AM , took tokens(just like DMV) and our turn came around 9:30 AM ...stamping for all the family members took 30 min.

Did you get stamped with the courtesy copy or with the original copy
My friend is in a similar situation, his lawyer is yet to get the original papers, but he got his copy. Did you go by car or by Metro
which is one easy. ( Do you have any idea ) Will they allow food etc if we go with kids.

Thanks,I had both Original as well as courtsy copy with me, but I gave them courtesy copy. They are not so particular about the original. They took EAD, AP and I-94 ,2 photos.Better to take driver\'s license for additional proof of Identity.

Parking is plenty. when you go by I-66 E . Stay on Fairfax drive and once you cross the intesection of North Glebe road and Fairfax drive , take immediate right into a parking lot which is unmanned. You have to park on a parking lot and keep $ 4.00 (all day) (coins only)in a box with your parking lot # on it.
 
Thanks for the info. I suspect My friends lawyer is doing a small game

because of the company appointed lawyer and he is saying that he is yet to get his original letter. He is going with kids for stamping, hope there is no problem .

No , I do\'nt think so. I waited for my original copy from Lawyer.My Lawyer insisted me to have original with me , but he is very much prompt in sending those documents to me. Its nothing to lose if you have the original copy with you ..right?

Do you think by anyway company or lawyer can do something to the
GC stamping after his I485 has been approved . Be cause not I advised him not to antogonise his employer, but in one occatsion he had to secure his green card. The issue was over his rate and salary
