stamping at a different address/state ???

I have posted on this forum last week that my I-485 case (RD 08/07/2002) was approved. I will be receiving approval copies from the attorney today.

I have asked the attorney to give address change nearly three months before my approval (I changed employer after 180 days and moved over to a different state). Still I ended up getting the approval on my previous address (postal dept forwarded the curtsey approval copy to my new address !!!).

Does anybody have an idea if it is safe to go for stamping at a different address (different state under VSC) ??

OR have anybody seen such cases ???

I am also in the same boat. But, I am still waiting for my approval. My RD is Sept'01. I am planning to go back to the city from where I applied I-485 to get PP stamped. Why take chance at the last moment. But, others may have different opinions on this matter.
