Stamping and Passport Validity. Urgent Please help.

My case has been approved yesterday and expecting my approval notice in 1-2 weeks but my passport is expiring on 16 th June. Is it necessary to renew my passport before stamping or can be renewed after the stamping.
Please help.

MUST BE RENEWED

The validity of the passport must be more than 1 year at the date of stamping. You have plenty of time to renew it...
 
Not True

My wife got her passport stamped last month. Her passport is valid till November 02. She had no problems in getting it stamped.
