Stamping Again?? - Help!!

Hi guys,

Current H1 visa on my passport is valid till 2007 (got it through Company A). I will be joining company B soon and I will need to visit my home country after I get my approval. Do I need to get a stamping again on my passport?

I have heard contradictory statements from different sources. Some say its okay to enter US with an approval notice from B and a visa from A.

Advice please!

thanks greatguru.. Do you have a link to any article or anywhere on the INS site that says that I dont need a stamping again. I want to equip myself if I am questioned at the port of entry :o

Does anything change if I get married and my spouse applies for a H4? I am new to H4 and new to getting married ;)

thanks greatguru.. but do you think it is "required" ? the reason i ask is i am not getting any appointments in chennai during the dates of my visit :(
 
Now, my attorney says that its much safer to get a stamping done again on my pport.. I am confused .. has anyone who had no stamping had any problems at POE ?

The rule is simple, if you have valid visa stamp in your pp and your h1 is transfered to another company (not pp visa company), you can re0enter US with old company visa with original H1 approval petition.
