Stamping ADIT vs regular

Hi,

We've recieved our 485 approval letters and in the letters it is mentioned that we need ADIT style photos. But the people those got stamping recently are mentioning that we need regular style phots. We are confused about this. Does any of you know which style of phots we need to take for stamping?

Thanks,
Swamy

I did the stamping at San Jose last week, and yes you need "regualr photos"
not the ADIT style photos.

The approval notice says ADIT style, but the letter from my lawyer highlighted the new photo requirements from USCIS.

Here is the new detailed photo spec from USCIS:

If you are still in doubt, take both types of photos. Also at San Jose there is photo studio on the same street as USCIS office.

Also write your name and A# behind the photos.

Some photo question.

I got email approval but not paper one yet.
Some question to ask you about:

1. where is San Jose Stamping office?
Is that just the one we did for finger-print?

2. Did you use old photos or take new ones?
Because I just update my passport with new photos.
not sure it's useful or have to take new ones.

Thanks.

1.

If I remember correctly, its near the Washington exit from 280. You will get the
exact address when you take the InfoPass appointment. Or you can go to USCIS
website and search for SanJose office address. It was not the address where
I went for my FP.

2.

New front facing Photos, *not* the ADIT style photos.

Are you guys doing the stamping at the Los Angeles center?

I tried to make an appointment online, but it says no appointments
are available. dont have their phone # either. Should I just go as walk in? Any suggestion on when to go? and do you know how long do I have to wait?
and how long does it takes them to send the card?
