Stamped @ Seattle and Moved to California. Anybody in a similar situation?

Hi everybody,

I applied for the Green Card @ VSC and did my passport stamping @ Seattle INS on November 2nd 2001. I moved to California a month after my stamping.
I sent a Change of Address request to Seattle INS and Nebraska Service Center as per INS official request. When I talked to the INS National Customer Service recently he said my application for the plastic card has been transferred to CSC. He said the local INS first processes your I-89 application and sends the request for card production to VSC.

I have the following questions

1) Is there anybody out there who is in a similar situation?
2) How much time does it really take (on an average) to get the plastic card in this kind of situation?

if ur card is procesed by VSC u should get ur card pretty fast CSC can take a long time me waiting for a year yet no sign of card sent g-731-c no answer called iio very cold saying still pending but guess what i am happy and so should u happy holidays!!
