Hi,
I got a change of status from H4 to F1 in July 2005. Then got an on campus job. But when i went to apply for an SSN, the local SSN office said I am not showing up on their system. So it seems the USCIS has not sent my info to SSN? In the meantime, will i get paid for the few weeks that i have already worked? do F1 students need an ssn to work and get paid for on-campus jobs?
