I'm one of the 2010 DV lottery winners and we had our visa interview on November 2009. My wife delivered our very first child on January 2010. I was told that the baby doesn't need to have a visa, since she was born after the issuance of visa and accompanied by us. I'm going to apply for a new passport for the baby which will be used to travel to USA. My question is how the baby can apply for a Social Security Number since her passport hasn't got any visas on that.
