Hi

I'm DV 2007 winner all ready i got the visa.
I have small doubt that is how to get SSN?

when i was filling DSP 230 Part II I selected SSN (Yes)

my question is wnen after arriving USA what I should do to get this SSN Card

Your SSN card will come to your address. If you want to accelerate the process you should apply to social security office. Good luck..

If you are wanting to work immediately, just go apply at your local SSN office. it won't hurt at all. Welcome to the United States buddy

after 3 weeks , if you dont recieve your card , go to the local social security office and apply for one , visit www.ssa.gov to download the application form ss-5 , normally your process is here :http://www.ssa.gov/ssnvisa/ , but in the most cases Homeland security dont send your information to ssa , so you can go allpy for new one , it happend to me but no card , so i apply for new one , good luck

or you can actually go to the SSA office after your first week in the US and apply for it in person. It's useless to go there before the week elapses.
