SSN Card, " Valid for work only with dhs autorization"???

got card today, but on the card it has " Valid for work only with dhs autorization "? what does this means? does this means once my GC been appoved they will mail me another one with same number or it will be a different number?

once you get a GC, a new card will not be mailed to you. If you want it changed, you have to go to the SSA office and request a change.
