SSN After EAD-How soon can one work ?

Hello friends!

I want to know , once your EAD arrives and you apply for SSN , then how soon can you start working ? Do u have to wait till u get the SSN card in hand or is it ok to say that you have applied for SSN ?

Once you have your SSN, you should be able to work with the EAD. But some employers might insist on seeing your SSN card.

One does not need the SSN card or SS number to begin to work. Check this website for more info:
