can I apply for the social security card in the same day when i landed to the blessed USA as i will stay only for 2 days in the USA for my first landing as i have to go back to canada to finish my work and to quit my job,
also if i stay for 8 months out from the USA is that case any broplem

if the US is so blessed, why are you staying away from it?

if you stay out for more than 180 days, you will have to prove that you in fact live in the US. Without SSN and a state ID, or address in the US, how are you gonna do that?

and about SSN - no, you can't. USCIS doesn't pass the information about you for about a week, so it's useless to go to the SSA office before that.

second i have to be in canada for 1 year mor as i am working as a pharmacist in canada and i signed a contract one year ago to work for that company for 2 years , the problem if i quet the job i have to pay alot of money may be more than 50 thousand can dollar, realy i dont have these money , any way my friend told me to go and to make landing on the end of august 2007 for 2 days only then i go back to canada and stay for that 8 months until i finish my work in canada then i go back to Blessed USA for ever,

when i will go landing i will go throgh the border between USA and CANADA , i will stay for 2 days only so i am asking can i get my SSN done on that 2 days only or i have to wait for few days more,
by the way i have a perminant address in the Blessed USA as my Friend is living there more than 14 years ago " in the same address" ,
so i want yr advice if y are in my situation how can y plane yr landing and getting yr SSN even as y can not stay more than few days out of canada as i can not take any more vacation from my job as i am already took 1 month vacation to go to egypt for my amirican immigration visa interview,

i will appreciate if y organize my plan of landing to the Blessed USA according to yr experince

no, you can't get your SSN in two days. it takes about a week from your arrival to get your info to SSA, then you apply for it, then SSA sends it to you (about another week). Sometimes it's sent to you automatically, but you never know if you are one of the lucky ones.
