Hi members,
As everybody by now who are in the GC Ordeal know that EB2 for India has moved to June'2006 for August bulletin.
My QUESTION is my priority date is Feb'06(EB-2) but when i'am checking the processing times for Applications filed for 1-485 at TSC are now 17th June'06
My application received date is 06-27-2006 & Receipt date is 09-18-2006,so how does my application process?
does it need to like bothe priority date & processing date need to be same?
or as the priority date is current they process the GC irespective of the received date?
BELLA,ATTORNEY,SGUITAR,Please suggest.

No, it's 17 July 2007. Your case could be adjudicated next month if your I-140 is approved.

Let me rephrase my Q.
My I-485 application received date is 07-17-06 & receipt date is 09-18-06 & yes my I-140 is approved, & i was informed in my other posts that both the Priority date,Received date,Receipt date need to be current to issue GC & more important they need to have Visa numbers available after they approve 2004 & 2005 applications 1st in order to get to 2006 applications.
Any more insights & info would b helpful.

Priority date is important date. The processing date is just guideline purrpose.

You said you submitted 485 on july-17-2006
TSC is now processing applications received on or before July-17-2007

did you notice that processing times is more than a year old? They are processing 2007 applications => which mean that its already more than a year since you are current as far as processing times go.

Your priority date is also current as per current visa bulletin.
one more thing. Priority date is NOT your 485 recept date. Your Labor approved date is your priority date which is Feb-2006 and which is current now for EB2.

since both criteria satisfy, you shd be expecting your card soon.
