Spouse's 485 is still pending

I have got that plastic card, but wife's 485 still pending. We both filed in last Sept. 2005 (EB1-OR concurrent filing).

I have two questions:
1) Is it still possible her case gets denied?
2) How to accelerate her case?

Sure, if she becomes inadmissible for criminal or medical reasons, or ineligible to adjust status. That, however, is extremely unlikely, I assume?
