Spouse's 485 in a different Service Center

Hi,

My 485 was applied in TSC and is pending for more than 180 days. I used AC21 have switched jobs and moved to CA. I have married recently and my lawyer said that I need to apply for my wife's 485 (dependent ) in CSC. So, I have applied her 485 in CSC.

Does anyone know, if there are any problems I should foresee?

Yes, derivative's GC is expected to be filed with the same center where the primary's GC is pending. But since you have stated that you are exercising AC21, you should be fine. In fact you are likely to get your case transferred to csc or local INS in CA and get the GC approvals. Lawyer seems to have made a strategic move.

I am done with FP on June 13th. If the case is transfered to CSC, will it be from square one there?

My ND is 03/2002. FP 06/2003.
