Spouse W-2

My husband is doing a concurrent filing for I-140 and I 485. I am on a h-1b visa. Would I need to submit my current paystub, previous w-2's or tax returns ?

I had taken a extended absence of leave from my employer last year and my w-2 will reflect that. My husband has all his w-2's and tax returns for the past 3 years .

Will my w-2 affect the process ? Do we even need to submit these documents ? My husbands attorney says there is no need for either of us to submit our w-2's or pay stubs.

Please advice.

--- You will be filing derivative I-485 with your husband I-485, you don’t need to submit your tax return or w-2, your husband may submit his pay stub, previous w-2's or tax returns

-- No problem for you

----No
Do we even need to submit these documents? My husband’s attorney says there is no need for either of us to submit our w-2's or pay stubs.
---- Your attorney is correct; BCIS may ask if they want at the time of GC temporary stamp in your passports at the final stage 18-24 months from now
