Hi,

My brother's girl friend GC is pending. she applied her GC through her parents. Her lawyer told her that she will get the GC in 4 or 5 months. she is also in india.

Q: if my brother marries her, and if she sponsors the GC, how much time it takes for my brother to get GC.

Q:Can he come on F1 or J1 or H1 VISA during the GC pending time. Does the GC pending effects getting the VISA in these categories.

Q:is it better to apply for F1 or J1 or H1 VISA before he gets married..

Q: Is it true that once a person who is in india applies for Family based GC, it is very hard to enter USA on any VISA until his GC gets approved.

A very long time. Years.

If he's got a Green Card application he's not going to get a J-1 or F-1 as they're non-immigrant visas. Not sure about H1-B which allows dual intent, but I'm not sure they'd issue one.

I can only recommend H-1 as that allows immigration intent. F-1 or J-1 are non-immigrant visas, i.e you can't use them to come to the USA if you intent to move here permenantly.

Dunno. I note in your post above you talk about your brother's GF having a lawyer. She should be asking these questions of him. There are far to many variables.
