Spouse Medical RFE

Hi Gurus,

I am Mar, 2003 filer at VSC. After 15 months of I-485 files, changed job, moved to california. As part of agreement, my sponsoring company with draw attorney.

Good news is that my I-1485 was approved on Nov,10 and got stamped as well. But My wife got RFE on Medical. RFE went to attorney and attorney send it back to VSC, stating they no longer represent case.

Today I called attorney, requestion for RFE copy. Attorney agreed to send me copy of RFE.

Now My question to you gurus is, Do we need attorney to reply RFE? Or Can I do my self.
Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

If it says just send in the medicals then you can do it yourself. Just write a cover letter and tell them you are hadling the 485 yourself (i.e. no attorney) Also send in a copy of RFE letter.

When did your spouse got RFE, I think I am exactly following your case, I got an email that my wife has RFE and we have not seen any RFE document yet, can you share me the doc you got? also you are suppose to get one from INS as well...

girishreknar, As per one of my friend, RFE letter always goes to Attorney. I have contacted attorney for a copy of RFE, Attorney agreed to send me one. I have not recieved yet. Will update you with contents when I get it.

Did your wife gave medical at the time of I-485 filing or they are just asking again
 
But as per my knowledge, we need to reply any RFE and attach the ORIGINAL REF letter (blue paper). So, contact USCIS and try to get a new RFE letter.

HOW DID YOU STAMPED YOUR PASSPORT AND THEN YOU GOT RFE?
I DISNT GOT THIS. :rolleyes:
