What is the status of my spouse's EAD if I am laid off. Can she continue to work?

If 180 days have passed from the time I filed my I-485 (Notice Date) can she continue to work in the same job with her EAD?

I would be highly appreciate a clarification from anyone who knows what the law is on this.

I just had another follow up question , with my EAD can I start to work with another company and get my I-485 transferred using AC-21 clause in the meanwhile...

I would be grateful of advise on the procedure....

yes

similar job, title and salary preferred. Awaiting INS's regulations on this issue. See archives in I485 portability..
