I justed checked AVM and it is still the old message.
So it looks like all of us are going to get RFE for spouse.

Please post the details as soon as you receive the RFE.

On processing resumed, we had two dates:

Mine was December 31, his was January 14th. However, fingeprints were done the same day on November 18th.
 
Bad news...

Guys - the bad news is that IIO told my husband they would have to start processing all over again for RFI cases and it may take up to 360-540 days for processing to be completed. How do you like that?

I saw people on the board being approved within 1-3 weeks, but nevertheless, that\'s what INS is saying on RFI cases.
 
It is not true..

After we send INS the evidences they need, we should get approved in a couple weeks.

It is just the standard AVM message which says that processing will take 360-540 days. Did you talk to IIO again today? \'What do you mean by start processing all over again....\'? Please provide more details.

Munu - During the initial conversation of my spouse with IIO, that was information that she gave him. I am just restating their conversation.

She told him that RFI is treated as new application process, and processing takes just as long as the new application. Therefore, 360 to 540 days.

Let us hope that it is just a standard response and RFI approval will take shorter time.

Still the same message \'Resumed...\' for my dependent. I got my stamping done today.
 
Not yet. Still waiting for RFE letter...

I think I will get that RFE letter sometime next week. When I get it, I will let you know. How about your spouse case? Any news?

Still same \'Processing resumed...\' message. Lawyer spoke to INS last week and they said the file is with an officer and decision is not yet made. Lawyer don\'t want me to call directly so I will tell him to call again sometime next week.

I did call IIO yesterday morning and was told that everything is complete on file. My case may be a lil different than most of u \'cause i filed for my spouse in december as we got married after i filed. The IIO said, they are only processing may 1st cases and it will be a couple months before they get to his case. We are waiting patiently until then. Good luck to all.
