Spouse 485 papers

Hi

Can some one file spouse 485 papers after he got married. ? I got married some days back. I had earlier filed my 485 in 99.

my 485 papers got approved after I got married. I was in the process of preparing papers for spouse when this happened. Lawyer mentioned that spouse could file 485 using my priortiy date

Any one has ideas about the same

Right now is your Spouse is in US with you? What status is she right now and entered US? Where did your marriage happened? This will help for anyone who might answer your question to give an appropriate answer(based on your data I believe it decides whether the spouse can remain in US if she is already in US (Or) follow-to-join if she is out of the country etc"). Good Luck!

Thanks for the reply. She is currently in US. She came here on H1 B Visa. The marriage took place in California.
