Sponsorship of B1 visa

Hi,

My inlaws are in process of getting B1 tourist visa. They can sponser them selves. I can also send them the papers, what do you think is more better self sponsership or sponsership from son-in-law?

Please advice.

self sponsorship is always best. they need to obtain the visa in their own merits, you can invite them and cover their room&board expenses, but they need to show strong ties to their home country.

Since every applicant needs to overcome 214(b) on his/her own, it makes perfect sense for the applicant to be financially self sufficient too.
