I am waiting my appointment in mid-January for tourist visa and my father is the one sponsoring my trip,the question is: is the bank account needed must be with my name or my father's as he is the one sponsoring me.Noting that i am only 18 years and a bank account for me would still be under my father's name.

B-2 visas are self sponsored. I am assuming you are showing your father's bank statements to prove you will be able to finance your trip to the US.

B-2 Visa are Visa for Leisure. If someone is sponsoring you, you don't have to show enough financial means by yourself to take care of your expenses for your trip to the U.S. However, you should still take the property, employment/professional and financial documents, as described below, you prove the strong ties to the home country.
