Sponsoring question

I have two question.

I'm in the US with a student visa, and the company that I worked applied for the H1 visa but I was not selected. I would like to know if it's possible to apply for the Green Card thru my son. My was born in the US in January of 2008.

The other question that I have, my brother is a Green Card holder, can he sponsor me?

Brguy, sorry to tell you, but the answer to both of your questions is most likely no. Your son cannot petion for you unless he is older than 21 y.o. A GC cannot petion for their brothers or sisters. Here is an exctract from I-130 (the petion form):

2. If you are a lawful permanent resident of United States, you may file this form for:
A. Your husband or wife;
B. Your unmarried child under age 21; C. Your unmarried son or daughter age 21 or older.

I am sure you'll get some more answers with the same kind of tone.

Your son can sponsor you in 2029.
Your brother can sponsor you after he becomes a citizen, but it will take close to 15 years for your turn to come up after the I-130 submission.
