Sponsoring parents: what do I need?

Hello friends,
I was wondering if you could help me figure out what I need to do in order to sponsor my parent's trip for a month. I downloaded the I-134 form from USCIS's website. They ask for bank statements etc...how much is a reasonable amount for USCIS? Do I have to actually go to the nearest immigration center for an oath? Anybody done this before? It seems like a lot of paper-work. Anything else I should be aware of?
Thanks!

PS: My 485 just got approved in Dec/2003.

you can notarize your affidavit (I-134 ) with any banker.
Some times you may find people in your office who can notarize the papers.
No need to goto immigration center for oath.

According to my knowledge approximately $5000 per person. For example if you are inviting two people and and you have two dependents already in usa, Approximately $25,000 for all 5 people.

You can show any amount of bank deposit if your yearly account avarage is not very very low. If your yearly avarage is very low better it is better to show the amount as much as you can. You can even show any CD's or share certificates if you have any.
