My status is that I received my EAD and Advance Parole recently and would like to visit India for holidays. At that time I would like to sponsor Visitors Visa to my mom. Visa is expired in passport and I know that I need not go for stamping as I would like to change my status to EAD when my H1 Notice expires in March 2008(roughly..). When I go to India, what status I will be in? When I sponsor Visitors Visa, what status I need to show. Because if I say I am on H1, but technically in India, in my passport, the visa is expired. There should be many who would have been in the same situation.

As soon as you re-enter the US on your AP, your H-1B status will be void.
