Hi Guys
I got my Canadian PR approved in March -2003 , At that time I was married & my wife too got hers with me.We landed there in July-2003 & came back to the US.Unfortunately we got divorced in Dec-2004,. I heard my ex-wife has gone & settled in Canada.God bless.
Now my PR is expires in Nov-2008 , which means I have to physically present in Canada after Nov-2006 to maintain my residency status.I'm planning to get married in next 2/3 months ,in this context I have questions
1) can I sponsor my second wife for Canandian PR ?
2) I have been out the country after residency approval in 2003 , so will that matter ?
3) Lets say my future wife gets her PR by Oct/Nov of 2006 & hers is valid till 2011, in that case I don't go to Canada but she re-applies for me in 2008 after my initial residency expires ? Is that do-able ?
All this mess due to GC re-trogession & the Philly BEC.
