Hi all,
Here are our incomes for the past few years (F-1 married to USC):
2005 (not living together, not married):
USC $4,000
F-1 $6,000
2006 (not living together, not married):
USC $30,000
F-1 $24,000
2007 (living together, not married):
USC $40,000
F-1 $24,000
We got married in 2008, and have the same incomes as in 2007. Clearly, it is over the minimum for two people living together. However, in 2005 (one of the past 3 years) it was only $10,000 combined and $4,000 for USC (we were in college). Do we need an external sponsor to file our application for GC?
Many thanks to those who might have an opinion. We appreciate it.
