Sponsor for B2- visa???

I have a student visa - F-1. I can't be a sponsor of my mom. My mom get small pention andd she is devorced. So, who can be that sponsor? Can it be anybody: friend from the US, or it has to be a relative?

An individual does not absolutely need a "sponsor" for a B-1/2 visa. Most successful applicants qualify on their own merit.
