Sponsering a neice

My aunt is a US citizen,and she sponsered me to come to US in F1 visa.My aunt is a widow and single,she has no children of her own and so she has sponsered me through my school days.I was wandering would it be possible for her to file papers and apply for my permanent residence here.I know immigration is tough,but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There is no category for neieces and nephews of US citizens.

Can you get an employer to sponsor you? Or fall in love and marry an American? :) :) :)
 
If she had adopted you before you turned 18..you could've been adjusted. Now the only way you can adjust is either marry a U.S Citizen or find a employer that will sponsor you..and change your F-1 Visa to H-1 and then apply for adjustment.
