Spoke with an IIO today - INDIA EB3 ND 08/09/1999 NJ

I just spoke with an IIO to verify if my lawyer had changed my address with the INS. Well I found out that they still had my old address even though my lawyer claimed to have faxed in the change. This goes to show that you can only trust yourself in such matters.

Anyway, I asked her the status of my case and she said they are doing August 1999 cases, and I should hear from them within 30 days. I hope she is right.

Here are my stats EB3 India ID 08/1996 ID 07/1999 ND 08/09/1999 FP 07/2000 EAC-99-236-XXXXX living in NJ and 485 still pending.

I have the exact same details as you (including FP). I called on Oct 20 and was told that my case was in the place where "it is supposed to be.". I was also told that it is not with an officer yet. I hope this helps.

ND Aug. 9. I was told the same thing too. Its in the right place. On Oct. 27 I was told wait for another 30 days.
Seems like standard reply.
