Spoke to TSC IIO "Hughes" this morning. He was polite which is more than you can expect from some TSC IIO\'s.
Asked him if my case ( RD 07/1999, ND 08/1999 ) has been assigned to an officer. He told me that my case is in transit to that Department and has not been assigned to an officer yet.
He wasn\'t sure how much longer it might take and asked me to check back in 30 days. According to him TSC processing date is still 07/01/1999. I had hoped to hear an in-between processing date like 07/25/1999, etc which some IIO\'s had given to a few TSC waiters.

Till when is ur FP valid. Mine did expire last month. Informed IIO the same, She said she
would send req to transmit the FP notice. I received the FP notice scheduled for 6/6/01.

Can you please tell us when exactly did your first FP expire and also how many days did it take after you spoke to the IIO to get your FP redo notice? I am in the same boat as you. I am trying to get the second FP notice but so far of no use. IIO told me that on May10 they have requested ASC(application support center who does FP) to schedule an FP date for me. I have not heard anything after that.

I had my first FP taken in the first week of Dec\'99. They expired in Apr\'01.
I spoke with the IIO in mid Apr. It took about 1 month for FP redo notice.

I am in the same boat as you guys.

My FP expired in April 01. I called IIO on May first week,
sent fax to TSC third week of May, lawyer sent a letter 3rd week of
May and TSC IIO still say\'s that they have requested for my
2nd FP.

I have not received it yet. I don\'t know whatelse to do
to expedite the process of getting my 2nd FP.

Will wait for another 2 weeks and call TSC again.

You can try taking your old FP notice to the ASC and give your finger prints. Some guys on
the message board have tried and got it done.

Hi Sri rao,

Yeah I came across that in many discussion groups that you can
use old FP notice to do 2nd FP.

As my wife is out of station I will wait 2 weeks and
go for 2nd FP with the First FP notice.

Yes I\'m very much in Houston. Also the proud father of a
3 1/2 year old kid. We moved into a new house 2 years ago so I\'ll have to say that I\'m settled in Houston for good.

After thorough analysis,
My best guess would be that you\'re "Kumar Palreddy".
Reason is that the only clue I have right now is your screen name and
"Pal" or "Palu" means "milk" in Tamil and Telugu.

If you\'re not Kumar then you\'re probably :-
Babu, Lavanya, Raja or Choksi since these are the only ex roommates of mine who\'re probably still in one of the states that fall under Texas Service Center\'s jurisdiction.

how does one know if the FP is expired, does INS send you a letter or does it expire automatucally after so mnay moneths, can someone please tell me how i will know if my FP has expired?
