Here is what i found out:

She would not disclose the case info and asked to contact customer rep or serivce request.

she did say though that the 7/2 created a whole mess. what they are doing now is going through all the files that are approvable. my impression is that they have certain limited number of visas now and do want to use them up before the end of sept. cases with all the required elements will be approved, though i wonder how many visa numbers are available.

i did ask her specifically if i could expect more approvals before 10/1 and she said YES. this leaves us some hope. it will be a crap shot to see who actually has all the required elements in their file.

so the message is slightly on the good side, but each person's fate will be different, depending on who is lucky really!

I talked to an officer at NSC today. First of all he refused to give any information about the case then after requesting him one more time he took my A# and looked into the computer. He said that the case is with the officer now. This confirms the information I got in my earlier call to NSC last week. The case has been assigned to an officer. Let's see, how long it takes now.

Officer?

Last week an IO told me that my case is in the distribution area. Wondering what does it mean? Where would it go from here?

You are going on Fast Track.... . As far as I know, The distribution area is same as the staging area, from where your case will be assigned to an officer.

Hi dwz1234

Can you tell me if you filed your I-140 using regular or premium processing? Also, when was it approved?

Thanks
