hello all

spoke to IIO today. According to her they just got back my fingerprints reports on 12/9 and i should hear something in 4-5 weeks.

As for my EAD with notice date 11/7 she said that they are processing EAD's pretty fast and i should get something before my current one expires (Jan 6th). She said in any case to call them the week of Dec 23rd if i dont hear anything on my EAD till then.


I just have one question for the gurus here. Are fingerprint results done twice becuase i had already got my results come way back in March, and i was wonderign when she said it came on dec 9th again is if they do it twice. Any ideas????

Maybe she meant that your "FP was received okay". I dont know if even that would be updated with the current upgrade.

patience GC....my FP was done in Marc...now its Dec. So i dont think you hear something 4-5 weeks after FP.

may be...

...are they sending FP to FBI once again because of the new security checks before approval ?
OR
usual (random) IIO answer ?

As Edison_NJ said, it might be that they got the FP result again from FBI/CIA with a YES/NO(mostly YES for cleared) and that this new check is already done on your case. If this is true, then this delay might end soon.

Checked online this morning and my EAD renewal was approved (ND 11/7)

My wife's EAD renewal is still pending (ND 11/7)

Hopefully we should hear something on our GC soon too. :)
