Spoke to IIO to check if he received the finger printing or not. I did the finger printing on 1 Dec 2000 at Newark. He told me that he did not receive the finger printing yet. He said, it takes around 90 days to get the finger printing from INS. Is he writing or just bollshiting? Can some one put your exp with this?

If you did your finger printing on a computer instead of paper style, it gets transmitted pretty quickly. For example, mine was received by VSC in just 3 days. I have seen many people check their FP by calling after a week and found that it is received by VSC. And some FP centers send the FP results to the wrong service center by mistake. For example, if your 485 is in VSC and if you do your FP in GA (which comes under TSC), they may send FP result to TSC by mistake as that is like a default in GA. So, call FBI (I forgot the number, just search for FBI in this board) and tell them your problem and ask when they sent the result and to where they sent it.

Call FBI @ 304.625.5590 option 4. They will tell you when did they sent it, and where. If it is done on new machines VSC should get it in couple of days. Either FBI sent it to wrong place or VSC lost it.

How did you manage to call II ?. I tried at least 100 times and always get engage tone. I can connect only after hours.

Bhatti I have tried the number in past and it works...
Kiran:n my case FP were sent to CSC instead of VSC but my lawyer tells me that INS keeps the FBI response in a central database and VSC will be able to access FP results although they were sent to CSC.
Have you had any different experience?
