Spoke to IIO..... VERY BAD NEWS!

Hi Guys

I just spoke to an IIO 5 minutes ago and he told me that the VSC has decided to stop all Indian 485 adjudications for the next 120 days. He said that this was decided at 3:00pm today and the decision was handed down from the justice department. The reason for this is so the INS can perform an internal audit of all Visa numbers allocated to Indians before they implement the new 2045 law.

Entire audit of VSC - all countries, all types of cases - takes two weeks - so why is this taking 120 days ??
