I spoke to IIO today at 2.00 pm....

The case is still pending & not assigned yet.

It is frustrating ......... :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

PCee, other sr. people....what's the status of your case? Is it assigned? When do you think the case get assigned....

PS: I am worried that I may go for 2nd FP......
 
Ask attorney to start faxing inquries...

Mine is going to do that from Aug 25th , even though my rd is 10/9 , Nd 11/9 .
 
In order to send Fax enquiry....

In order to send fax enquiry don't we wait until the JIT date....I guess INS currently processing august 01 cases...

Shall I wait until JIT moves to september or start sending fax immediately?......

My lawyer already sent one last month..

it did not help since I got a reply fax saying case is pending ! but hopefully more faxes will push someone somewhere.
although you are right ...the JIT must be past the ND to send in the fax.
 
Interpretation of JIT date - Aug 01

Right now CSC JIT is 08/01/01 that means they are processing applications filed on or before Aug 1,2001 or they are processing all applications filed until Aug 31 2001.

If JIT 8/1/1 means processing appl before Aug 1, then cheifcook - faxing inquiries should be done 30 days past your ND gets current.

That means - ND of Sept 21 will be eligible for fax inquiry in last week of oct (assuming dates move 1 month every 31 days).

Am I making correct interpretation of JIT?

Because, IIO told that it will take another two to three months to get approval. May be I should wait until end of october 02 to send fax enquiries....

Question: Should I prepare myself for the second FP...I believe FP's are valid only for a year. Correct me if I am wrong.

We should forget about all this damn things & cool on friday evening.....:p :p :p

May be to see "BABA" in IMC6 tonight & relax & relieve from INS delay for sometime :eek: :eek: :eek:

Aug/Sept/Oct 2001 filer should get approval anytime now. Don't pay much attention to what IIo says. Sometime I wonder whether they even look at the computer before answering your questions.
 
485 queries (Califonia)

Its been more than 6 months now since I filed my 485 thru California .. we got the EAD's but not
the finger print notice so far ..

Has anybody ever got any response from INS as to what would cause such processing delays ?

Any comments on this will be useful,

As of 08/01/02 my case is not yet assigend. By looking at Sridhars case I am hoping that our cases should be assigned by now and we should see our approvals in next week.

fingerprints are valid for 15 months. I think your case will be adjudicated before that. I did my FP 0n Nov 31st/2001

you can send in faxes to INS inquiring about FP. Post a seperate message (start the thread); there were many during the April time frame that got desperate waiting for FP in San Jose and faxed inquiries.
