I spoke to IIO yesterday and asked about the status of my case .
My details are
RD :08/27
ND :09/23
FP :04/02/2002

She told me that the file is in File area (good answer ) !

That\'s all . So the wait continues ..

but still, its a very good sign --in my case, INS lost my spouse\'s file - so you see its a good news for you that ur file is in the file area. :-))

Although I bet the IIO did not physically verify it :-)

Excuse the rant - but I am just a little tired of this INS inefficiency - they lost my spouse\'s AP and EAD apps filed in Aug\'01 and after filing it for a second time in Jan\'02 , and after a Fax inquiry last week, they now tell us that the EAD photos are lost - for the second time. God Bless INS.

I am sure they are doing the best given the circumstances -
but folks I just had to vent this somewhere - and you guys I am sure will understand !!!

Oh ! I didn\'t check for my wife !
Any way, it is not good to spoil the weekend .

But looking at the trend , i feel that they are clearing
all the old cases .
