Spoke to IIO: Clear understanding of IN PROCESS. RD 9/27

Hello Everybody,

My line got disconnected while i was talking to IIO yesterday evening around 4PM. Yesterday IIO was saying my case is IN PROCESS

So i called IIO again today. Here is the conversation....

Me: I would like to know the status of my case..
IIO: Did you check your AVM.
Me: No. not today.
IIO: May i know why?
Me: I was talking to an officer yesterday. He said my case is IN PROCESS. And then line got disconnected. SO i called to day.
IIO: Hmm...
Me: Can you tell me what is IN PROCESS means?
IIO: We received your file. File is sitting in the office.
Me: You mean to say its not assigned to officer?
IIO: Yes.
Me: How long it will take to assign..
IIO: Right now we are processing April cases.. When your RD(Yes. he mentioned clearly RD) comes, we will open your case..
Me: Oh.. I see.. Thank you.
IIO: Hmm..
Me: Bye
IIO: Bye to you.
Me: Have a good day.(I dont know what to say.. So i said good day..)
IIO: You too..

After that I disconnected the line...

So.... its clear..
VSC is processing based on RD
IN PROCESS = Processing Resumed = Not Assigned to Officer = Sitting IDLE in the office

I thought of sharing these with you guys..

I just finished talking to an IIO

I had a similar experience with the IIO. My RD is 07/09/2001 and he said they are processing RD-April 01 case. and he said it will take a minimum of three months. He said the case is pending.

I am trying to be patient.

Just to be safer side and so that you dont complain a lot INS still showing RD 04/01 is being processed but in fact they are far ahead
