Just spoke to an IIO (Michael) regarding my I485.
RD July 19, 1999
ND Aug 10, 1999
EB3, England
EAC-99-237-XXXXX

I was told that there will be NO movement on ANY cases for the next 2 weeks because of the internal audit.
Was told that the earliest I will hear about my case will be November 15.
It is currently pending with an Immigration Officer (not sure what that means).

Not happy that many 485\'s seem to have a later Receipt Date than mine, but an earlier Notification date (the difference between RD and ND is 3 weeks). The IIO said my Receipt date was Aug 10, not July 19.

I think he means that it is in the adjudication stage (with an officer) and that it will be at least Nov 15 before the officer makes a decision.

Yes.. Denzil is right..

I spoke with an immigration officer this morning.. and she said that they are conducting an internal audit for the next 2 weeks.

I guess its time to relax for everyone for the next 2 weeks on 485.

Even I spoke to IIO and I got the same answer nothing will happen for another two weeks and may case is with the officer.

ktxn, I hope you are sure about your ND. If there is no typo, then it means that they have finally started looking at September 99 cases. My ND is 09/15, hence the curiosity.
