Spoke to an IIO at 10:15

Asked her about my case She said that it was assigned to an officer and I would hear soon, (two weeks back on friday it was in the staging area).

I verified that my wife's and sons files were also in order , she said that all the three were with the same officer so everything is fine.

I asked her whether they had stopped processing till 8th for counting. She said no - processing will be done but the system will not be updated. Files will not move from one place to another.

So apparently the officers will approve / rfe but these will not be updated or sent out till after the counting process.

When did U try calling them ? I was on hold from 8 am till noon and no one picked up the phone ? Can U please let me know whats the right time to call ?

When you check your case online what does it say about
"Current Status: Fingerprint Processing ........."

Please post cuz mine is saying
Current Status: Fingerprint Processing Complete-Non-Ident
