Real nice lady. She asked for my LIN# and then asked for name and DOB. When I gave her the info, she put me on hold for a few seconds and said my case was approved. Did the same thing for my wife as well.
She says both my case and my wife's approval notices were mailed on Aug 01 2002. She basically confirmed what the AVM said.
I told her I haven't received the notices yet and she asked me to give it some time and also read out the address to which it was mailed. She gave the correct address of our home.
It took me around 20 minutes of pressing the Redial button before I got connected.
I also told her saying that the only reason i called to speak to an IIO was because the AVM was screwed up and I didnt know if the status given by it was right. She acknowledged that there were problems with it and that it was getting fixed.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for receiving the damned approval notice before I can have a sigh of relief.
