Hi All,

Today I spoke to an IIO at around 9 AM. This is the first time I spoke to a Male IIO. He took my information and said "We need to Order Finger Prints. Your wife must be in the same boat as well". I told him that I have called several times before and heard the same answers. He said he will order for us and we should be gettting in about 3 weeks.

This is the first time an IIO gave me some time line. I have a good feeling about this call.

similar experience

I had to try at least 15 to 20 times to be able to talk to a nice IIO in good mood.
In fact my experience was so good that IIO called me home (next day morning at 6.30 CST) to rediscuss the problem. I got the FP issued after this discussion with in a week and got it done two weeks before the appointment date.

My experience tells to be persistent, polite with them. Good IIos in good mood are there.:)

3 weeks and waiting.

Hi all, I got a very nice IIO on my first ever call to INS on the 10th of this month. She took down my and my wife's SRC numbers and said she would arrange for manual FP. Am still waiting.

hopefully we will get it this time. I had called twice before and i was told that FP's will be ordered

All,

I called number of times to get my FP and only one occasion me too got a Male IIO and he said that he was going to order the FPs for me and for my wife and he said that we would receive them within 3 weeks. He was right and we received them within 3 weeks and we did FPs almost 10 days back.

With my experience male IIO are very cordial and helpful and also they 're quick decision makers and don't require their supervisor's approval for this kind of simple things.

-- Please call IIO and definitely the ray of hope will be near by.

Good experience this morning

I called TSC for the very first time this morning to check on my I-485 application status as well as my H-1B extension (7th year) status.....Surprisingly enough, got through immediately and was able to talk to an IIO in about 2 minutes.

She took the receipt numbers and told me that "it is taken care of". When I asked her what that means, she told me that she sent a request for the finger printing to be scheduled. She also warned me that even though she is sending in a request, it may still take a long time to get the actual notices !!!!

Anyways, will wait and see what happens. Not a bad start for the week, I guess :-)

Anita, please follow up on u'r FP

My RD is also on June 2001. Talked to a nice IIO and she said that an FP was ordered for me long before, but not yet scheduled. She added me to a report staing this..1 month have passed after that..and until now no news about my FP
