Split in Company - Effect on 485 Process

Here is my situation: I did my Labor thro\' company A which merged with B and became AB. I got my I140 approved with the company name AB and applied for 485 about 2 months back at VSC. I have FP next week. Now AB is going to split into A and B in the next month or two into the same companies before the merger. I will be with A again.

Questions:

1. What happens to my 485 application? Do I need to do an Amended I-140? If so can I do it simultaniously with my I-485 or do I have to re-apply for my I-485 after Amended I-140 approval?
2. Is it possible that I still get an RFE, even after my Amended I-140 approval?
3. If I got an RFE before 6 months, will I still be eligible for 180 days portability rule?
4. Has anybody ever got 485 Approved with an Amended I-140 and/or an RFE because of the company Merger/Split?

I would highly appreciate it if anybody knowledged/experienced in a similar situation(Company Split/Merger etc.) could answer my questions. Thanks.

 Split is the same as merge. Talk to your lawyer.
 
Yes I have a approval with amended I 140

Hi ,
I just got approved today . I had a labour from comp A . Comp A merged with Comp B and then the combined entity got acquired by Comp C.

Labour by Comp A
I140 by Comp B
485 & amended 140 by Comp C

How long did it take for you to get an Amended 140? At which point did you send the Amended 140 to INS? Did you get any RFE? Any thing special I should watch out for?
